Cable
and Wireless intends to streamline it's business in the UK
by axing up to 3,500 jobs over the next 4-5 years and reducing
it's customer base from 30,000 to 3,000 large corporate customers
and public instritutions. Letters are being sent out to some
customers giving 90 days notrice of termination of service.
Given the impact
that this will have, many Cable and Wireless telephony customers
are bound to have concerns about their future telecoms services.
