BTnet is a high performing, dedicated service that can meet all of your requirements for internet access. It's suited to companies of all sizes, and is available across the UK.

BTnet is available in three options - Standard, Premium and Gateway. Standard is our entry level service and is not provided with a Service Level Agreement, or resilience options. If you need a fully supported service you should select our Premium option. The Gateway service is suited to businesses wishing to connect to an existing CellStream service. Each of our BTnet services are uncontended therefore you are guranteed connectivity at all times for your mission critical applications. Demon / Thus Leased Line Internet Access

A Demon Leased Line connection provides a range of bandwidth options including: 64Kbps, 128Kbps, 256Kbps and 2Mbps. As this service is un-contended and symmetric, you would have all of this bandwidth in both directions without having to share it.

No Contention

Unlike ADSL, or broadband services, you won't share the bandwidth you purchase. This is critical when hosting Internet services, as you need to ensure that the upstream bandwidth (the bandwidth that you can push out) is only available to the users of your services.

Service Level Agreement

With a service level agreement offering uptime of 99.85%, you can be sure you can rely on this connection.

Installation Support - A Demon Leased Line connection will be presented as X21, unless you specifically request a G703 connection or a site survey indicates that you require the G703 presentation. (Where G703 presentation is required you will be able to purchase a converter with your order.)

For either option, we are able to provide you with a fully configured router if required. Where we supply the router you also receive 24 x 7 telephone support. If, however, you already have a router it will be your responsibility to configure it. We also offer a fully managed router service, which is described below.

Managed Router

A managed router for your Internet leased line provides you with not only peace of mind, but also reporting that can help you understand your use of the service. From installation to support, a managed router service lets you concentrate on your core business safe in the knowledge that if you ever encounter a problem it will be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
With options available for on-site support, managed install and remote configuration changes, this will provide a comprehensive managed router solution. Like the standard Demon router option, this option also has telephone support 24 x 7.

ISDN Back-up ISDN Back-up is available to those customers that have purchased one of our two managed routers available with an ISDN card. This ensures that, in the unlikely event that you experience problems with your Demon Leased Line, you will have a "fail-over" mechanism that provides continuing Internet connectivity at 128Kbps*. (Customers must provision their own ISDN2e in order for this service to work.)
